Custom Glass Installations
Every project begins with an on-site measurement by the team at IDEAL Shower Doors. No templates, no guesswork — your glass is cut to your exact opening.
Thick tempered glass — 3/8" or 1/2" — with no surrounding aluminum frame. The glass and hardware do all the work, resulting in a clean, open aesthetic that suits contemporary and transitional bathrooms alike.

A minimal top and bottom track holds the glass in place without a full aluminum surround. Delivers a streamlined look at a more accessible price point, with the same custom-measured fabrication process.

Two or three panels that glide past each other horizontally — no outward swing required. Ideal for bathrooms where clearance is limited or for a contemporary horizontal movement aesthetic.

Glass Options
The glass you choose affects how your bathroom feels, how much light comes through, and how easy the enclosure is to maintain.
The most popular choice. Fully transparent, available in 3/8" and 1/2" thickness. A slight green tint is present at the edges — almost unnoticeable in most installations.
Virtually no green tint — pure transparency from every angle. The premium choice for bright, light-filled master baths where clarity is a design priority.
Acid-etched surface diffuses light while maintaining privacy. Available in full-panel or lower-half configurations. Works well in shared bathrooms or guest baths.
A professional-grade water-beading treatment applied to the glass surface. Water rolls off rather than sheeting, dramatically reducing mineral buildup and daily cleaning time. Learn more
